I'm Ji-Guk, a Jindo mix with a heart as warm as a cozy fireplace. My journey started on the streets of a small Korean town, but thanks to the caring folks at the animal protection society, I dodged a close call with a city shelter's grim fate. Now, I'm all set to embark on my second life with a loving family.

I've earned my title as an 'easy-going' companion. Despite a challenging past, I'm brimming with positivity and brightness. My absolute favorite thing? People! I thrive on attention and adore those magical moments of ear scratches and belly rubs. Even with strangers, I can be your best buddy within 10 minutes, especially if treats are involved—I've mastered impressive tricks like sit, lie down, and more!

My trainer says I'm a breeze to teach. Thanks to my intelligence and healthy appetite, I take my treats with grace—no rushing or aggression here. Sharing is caring, too; I happily share my food with new doggie friends, and I don't mind a good petting session during mealtime.

When it comes to business, I'm a strictly outdoor guy. You'll find me turning into a playground rock-star, channeling my boundless energy into joyous play. Strolls are another favorite, though I might pull on the leash in pure excitement. As for cats, I'm eager to learn how to be the best feline friend with a bit of training.

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
