My name is Basilisk!

Basilisk is just beginning to be exposed to the big, wide world for the first time in his life, and it’s all a bit overwhelming. We’re working on helping him adjust to all the new people and creatures, but we think he would likely prefer to be your one and only spoiled pup. He loves to sit on laps, but most definitely does not want to share that lap with anyone else! Basilisk has gravitated towards foster mom the most, but has decided foster dad is acceptable too. Children are absolutely not his jam, and he has requested a home without them. So far, he has attempted to chomp every new dog he has seen, even though they are all about quadruple his size, so he would also prefer a home without any other dogs. We haven’t yet attempted to introduce him to a cat, but based on his feelings towards kids and dogs, we don’t expect it to go well. 

If you’d like to have a single, small dog who loves you and no one else, Basilisk is it! We believe he grew up as a doted on lap dog to an older lady, and we think he would absolutely love to continue that lifestyle with a new person!
