Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ozzie who comes to us as an owner surrender from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. He is a 2-year-old, 78 lb. Merle Great Dane. He is housetrained, obeys basic commands, is extremely loving, loves to snuggle and hug, and is very eager to please. Ozzie has a deformed foot but that does NOT slow him down. This was a birth defect. He is big dog friendly and likes to play ball. Due to his size, he would do best in a home with kids over the age of 12. Ozzie has gotten bullied by some of the other dogs because of his foot and has shown aggression towards children in trying to assert his dominance and has also growled a few times at strangers when they have shown submissiveness with him. He needs to be with a master/family who is boss and shows him this. He is a completely perfectly behaved dog with his foster dad. Ozzie has had his first set of shots and is microchipped. If you would like to meet him, please send us an email address to obtain an Adoption Application.
