My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mowgli is a chihuahua pug mix, who came to us with his buddy Poe, as a surrender. Their owner passed away and the family was devastated to have to give them up, but they were unable to care for them. This little guy is such a sweetheart, he is calm and gentle and enjoys being pet. He loves his treats and is definitely deserving of them. He would like to stay with Poe, but understands if you can't care for them both.

Complete an application and give us a call today to schedule an appointment to meet him.

My ideal home:
I'd love to stay with my best friend, Poe! Adopt us both if you can!
I'm good with:

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
