Young, ~2-year-old, 90-lb, friendly BERNICE appears to be a chocolate labrador retriever-hound mix. She has been great with other dogs, including puppies (see video). She loves people too, but is entirely too interested in cats to share a home with them.

BERNICE is housebroken (keeps a clean kennel) and knows basic commands like come and sit. She takes a treat from your hand with a gentle mouth.

BERNICE will need work with loose-leash walking as she is still taking handlers out for 'runs', but has the makings of a good family dog.

BERNICE was tested with a cat today and only wagged her tail and sniffed it then went about her way.

BERNICE is a big time drooler which comes right along with the breed.

Overall she has been a loving girl who loves to be with people.
