Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there! I'm Chloe, your resident smokey grey cuddle bug! Like a shroud of smokey mist draped over a mountain, I am mysterious, ethereal, and captivating. I don't like small talk, so make sure to bring some interesting topics to the table if you want to hang out with me! If you're so lucky, I may even curl up on your lap and watch a documentary with you. Would you like to try it?

When you adopt an animal, you’re not just saving the life of the animal you adopted. You’re also opening up space for the next animal in need. Our goal at the Morris Animal Refuge is to approach the adoption process holistically to make the best matches for our adopters and for our animals.
We are no longer requiring appointments or pre-approvals to adopt! Visit our shelter (1242 Lombard St) or PetSmart Adoption Center (2360 Oregon Ave.) during the following hours to adopt your new best friend. We will process your information at the time of adoption and in most cases your animal can go home with you on the same day.
1242 Lombard St. Shelter Adoption Hours:
Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday: 11-4
Wednesday: 11-7
2360 Oregon Ave. Adoption Hours*
Monday, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday: 12-3
Tuesday and Thursday: 6-8:30
*Please keep in mind that this center is staffed by volunteers, so hours are subject to occasional change based on volunteer availability

Adult Cats (6 months+): $80, or $100 for a bonded pair

All animals adopted from Morris Animal Refuge are:

- Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations
- Treated for fleas and most intestinal parasites
- Microchipped
- Cared for by our loving staff until they find their forever homes
We strongly recommend any animals adopted from us to see a veterinarian for a post-adoption check-up and to establish care.
The Morris Animal Refuge reserves the right to refuse any adoption.

The Morris Animal Refuge is a 501(c)(3) shelter dedicated to helping the homeless, abandoned and unwanted pets of the Philadelphia region. Founded in 1874 by Elizabeth Morris, we were the first organization dedicated to sheltering and rehoming pets, and continue that legacy today by providing adoptions, a low-cost spay/neuter program, fostering, humane education and more.
