My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**I'M CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE, BUT I'M STILL AVAILABLE TO ADOPT OR GO TO RESCUE! TO INQUIRE, PLEASE CONTACT THE ADOPTION CENTER. Email: adoptions@ivhsspca.org **

Hi, I'm Polly! I am good with other dogs (but I will try to chase cats!), great with kids, great on car rides, good on walks (I use a leash and harness), and at night I prefer to sleep in the same room with a family member in the home. I know some basic commands ("sit" and "paw") if you are using treats! My favorite activities are going for walks and chasing balls so that I can chew on them. My foster family says I'm very cuddly and playful. I love affection and will gently ask for more by giving you a gentle nudge if you stop petting me. Would you like to meet me and give me a furever home?

Our mission to care for all animals is made possible by friends like you. Every day our dedicated staff ensures that every animal receives food, veterinary care and the attention they need until they can find a forever home. The Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA is a private, 501c3 nonprofit organization and is supported by contributions, grants, bequests, proceeds from pet adoptions, pet licensing and fees for services.

With highly recognized investigative officers, IVHS answers the call of over 100 animals in need every day. With our community outreach programs we educate the public on local wildlife, proper pet care and how to be a responsible pet owner. Equally important is IVHS’s commitment to provide a mobile vaccination clinic, low-cost and no-cost spay and neuter programs for our communities.
