Are you ready for Reddy? He is a handsome young man who was looking for assistance in Twin Lakes and found it with one of our fosters. He had bright red hair dye all over his coat and was clearly looking for a safe haven away from some color happy fashionista. He is happily back to his normal color and looking dapper! We think Reddy was born at the beginning of 2023. He had plenty of cat friends in his foster home and is very easy going.
Do you have a place in your life for this handsome gentleman? He has room in his heart for you.... ;)
All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org
When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.
Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.
If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
