My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

❤️ ***Fostered in Seattle, WA and ready for meet and greets!!!*** ❤️

Meet superstar Chuck Warhol! At 6 months old and just under 40 lbs, he’s the sweetest lab/husky mix puppy you’ll ever meet! This affectionate pup has it all: a loyal heart, a sharp mind, a wagging tail, and the most beautiful face! He spreads joy wherever he goes.

Bursting with energy and enthusiasm, Chuck loves to explore his surroundings with his favorite people and pup friends, sniffing and playing tug of war or chase. 🥎 He’s ALWAYS up for a game of fetch!

He’s a social butterfly, always pleased to make new friends, both human and animal. His positive and clever personality make him everyone’s favorite. He’s currently thriving in a foster home with another dog that he just adores. They have frequent visitors—adults, toddlers, dogs, and school-age kids—and Chuck enjoys the hustle and bustle.

Chuck isn’t ALL action, though. He’s a 🥇 Certified Grade A Snuggler. He even loves to share a pillow with his person. He cuddles with people and with other animals. On cold evenings he loves to lie by the fire and chillax.

This sweetie pie’s affectionate and gentle nature makes him a perfect addition to any family with kids. He adores children and they adore him! Very kind, patient, and thoughtful, Chuck knows that children require special care. 🥰

Although he is still a young pup, his foster mom is impressed by his wisdom. Chuck is eager to learn and please his human companions. His lab/husky heritage shines through in his alert nature and keen awareness of his surroundings, making him an excellent candidate for agility, obedience, nosework, or any adventure you can think of. He’s had basic obedience training, knows essential commands (sit, come here, leave it), and is improving his leash skills. His intelligence and eagerness to please make him a quick study, and he is always ready for new challenges.

Chuck is house trained but is still too young to make it through an entire work day without a potty break. So he’d love to join a work-from-home family or would be thrilled to attend doggy day care with pals to play with. He’s also crate trained.

Because he’s so devoted and 💓 loving, Chuck needs a home with people who want to spend a lot of time with him. That can be just one person, but the more the merrier! He would love human and animal siblings to share his joy and fun. A fenced yard is ideal for Chuck to play fetch and other games.

Are you looking for a loyal and adoring best friend? Do you want someone to play games with at home, or take on adventures with you, or both? Is there room in your life for a cuddle buddy? Do you have time to dedicate to continued training and daily exercise? Do you need a #1 fan? Then please consider opening your heart and home to Chuck Warhol. You’ll be rewarded every single day.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks:

• 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)
• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)
• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan
• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan
• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco
• Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
