Sam Mae is a stunning white German Shepherd Dog ready to steal your heart and be the star of your home! She's at that perfect age—past the intensive puppy training stage but still brimming with playful energy.
She falls in love with you! She deeply loves. She remembers you, makes eye contact, connects with you! She loves all toys and keeps herself occupied with toys. She can hang in the same room with you laying on her bed with a toy while you work. Does great with tandem walking with other dogs. Can go to a daycare because she is great with other dogs. She learns new routines quickly and trusts you.
Her foster family reports that she's sweet and quite the comedian. She gets along splendidly with other dogs and even lives peacefully with a cat. Sam is incredibly smart and treat-motivated, currently perfecting the art of taking treats gently. A true lover of the outdoors, she thrives in a home with a fenced yard and would benefit from an owner with experience handling her spirited breed.
Sam loves engaging in active play, whether a game of fetch or a spirited tug-of-war, making her an ideal companion for a household with another dog to mentor her. While she's full of energy, she's also crate-trained and potty-trained and known for being a quiet girl—though she's not above making adorable noises when she's rolling around in a silly mood.
Frequently visiting our rescue to socialize, Sam is blossoming beautifully. She's increasingly comfortable around new dogs and people. She's ready to form a deep, loving bond with her forever family and promises to be a delightful companion.

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $650 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!
Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
