My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rocky, he's a 2 1/2 yr old Cocker Spaniel that's the sweetest boy ever. Rocky has a thyroid condition that he takes meds for daily. Thankfully those meds are super inexpensive and he takes his pill like a champ.

Rocky is a lap dog, he's laid back and prefers to be snuggled up with his person. Rocky's great with other dogs and cats to. He's fantastic on a leash and is house and crate trained.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, vet references and a home check prior to adopting a pet from us. All pets will be altered prior to adoption unless they are under 6 months of age, then they will go with a spay/neuter agreement.

You can find our application here: http://shirleysboxers.org/adoption-application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility and all our animals are in foster homes. We ask that an application be filled out before we set up a meeting time:

More about this rescue

We are a small group of Boxer lovers that rescue and foster Boxers and other breeds as needed and get them the medical care and TLC they need until loving homes can be found. We also assist owners in re-homing their pets when needed.
