Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Is it a dog? Is it a bee? No! It's a Dog in a Bee Costume! Or, better known to us as a precious, shy, lady cat! This timid angel is looking for a quiet home with someone willing to spend some extra time and care to show her that the world isn't as scary as she thinks it is. She was originally found as a stray, so we don't know too much about her history. She does love cheek rubs and catnip, and is hoping someone will have the patience to let her snuggle with them. Dog in a Bee Costume has dental disease as well as early mammary cancer, and will need someone dedicated to her care moving forward. She is hoping the right person will come along to give her everything she deserves!

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
