I'm as sweet as a sugar cookie, and just as mild mannered. I promise to greet you with a wagging tail and puppy kisses each day. I'm a good girl too, I've already learned where to do my business and the kennel staff here love me extra for it. I promise to be your best friend, your confidant, your loyal companion. More about this shelter

In 1987, an initial attempt was made to organize a local humane society in Caroline County. While this attempt did not succeed, those same dedicated volunteers were not deterred.

From our humble beginnings 30 years ago, to where we are today, we are proud to be called “the little shelter that could”.

We provide service to our community through pet adoption, Rabies Clinics, Trap-Neuter-Return, Pet Pantry, Pet Lost & Found, Re-homing, Intake Diversion, Cremation
