My story

Kiano is a high energy adolescent pup who was found in an emaciated state with a broken tail tied to a park bench in South Philly in March 2023. After an intense re-feeding program and a tail amputation as well as all of his other medical care, Kiano began to shine!

He has mastered “potty bells” and knows to ring them to let his humans know he needs to go out. He has learned basic commands and how to socialize with other dogs and a cat. He is still working on leash manners but is making strides.

He still has some puppy dog mouthy behaviors to work on but is an eager student. Like most young dogs, he is high energy and up for all kinds of fun! He is looking for a home where he can continue to grow and master behaviors to be his best well mannered self! He loves balls, sprinklers and playing with other dogs!

We appreciate you + we love our animals. Please be patient as this may take a few business days to check all personal + vet references.

We are a 100% foster-based organization so a day/time is coordinated with our amazing foster to meet the animal that caught your eye.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our contracts are digital + sent from our software database.

We have several options for you to help us continue our work in matching animals with their forever family units.

We currently rely on our amazing web of generous fosters throughout the Philadelphia area and will do our best to make a meeting as convenient as possible for both human + animal.

Meetings will need to be coordinated through the foster of the animal you are interested in meeting.

Our Vision: Our mission is two-fold; we want to help abandoned pets and we want to help stop pet abandonment.

We operate using a network of kind hearted hands to help find homeless animals veterinary and behavior care and then match them with appropriate forever homes. We also strive to educate pet owners about resources they might utilize in order to best understand how to provide for their friends with furry paws, feathers or claws. We always do our best to help.
