Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ok, here’s the scoop on Paula’s ‘roomie’….he’s a 9 yr. old staffie named Calle - absolutely mellow, sweet boy - friggin’ owner surrender - the reason? He keeps escaping….excuse me? He’s 9 yr. old, where the hell is he going? Unless the fencing was so inadequate, or his life was so boring he would cruise the neighborhood (plus he’s not fixed)….or perhaps his owner didn’t pay any attention to him, any of which would be incentive enough for him to leave…..or tell the truth - Calle was dumped because HE’S NINE YEARS OLD!!!!! NEED I SAY MORE?

Calle is yet another wonderful senior whose owner is a jerk and dumps them in a high kill shelter, with absolutely no concern for what might, NO, probably WILL happen to them…his # is A1129732, no picture on the website but we’re working on getting one taken of his handsome, slightly banged-up, weathered ‘mug’ - AND he and Paula are getting along famously….hanging out in the cubby together with no issues…..but then again - older man, young pretty girl??!!! Happens all the time!!

So let’s work on getting Calle (he’s on the right, below) out too - we know the survival rate of seniors in Shelters is dismal.
