Here's what the humans have to say about me:
James and his sister June were found by workmen demolishing a building. Their momma fled when the noise began and didn't return for them. They were only a couple of weeks old and very cold and hungry! They were bottle fed and raised in a home with other cats, children and dogs. James is a very busy boy with two modes......"Adventurous Kitten Play' and 'Fast Asleep'! He loves to snuggle at the foot of the bed at night, but is first in line for an obstacle course chase. He would love to have a forever home that can keep up with his play and give lots of cuddles.
He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
