Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Delaware comes from the Athens-Clarke County shelter. I got her back in October, so she is about 1yr and 10 months old. She is incredibly energetic, playful, and is still learning how to play properly. She is very shy/anxious in new environments.
She is also very jumpy and anxious, so I would say that if you plan on having her around other dogs or cats, introduce them very slowly and carefully.
Her experience with the cat she lives with has been really negative, but when I took her to my hometown, she got along with our other cat really well after a week or two. I'm not sure how she would handle being around dogs or children, but she can be a little rough when playing sometimes, so I'd venture to say it's safe to not have her around kids.
I am looking for someone who can give her the home she deserves- one where she is given proper attention and care but also an environment where she can feel safe and calm in. I unfortunately won't be able to provide that.
