Abby was just rescued from a high kill shelter because the shelter sent my rescue an email plea for her to be saved due to her being such a good dog and they could not extend her any longer. Abby had been at an overcrowded shelter since Oct 2023 and was a shelter/volunteer favorite. She was kenneled with multiple dogs and did well in the play yard with male dogs and
submissive females her size. She is beautiful with a grey and white coat, medium size, what
we call an "itty bitty pitty". She gives the sweetest kisses and will make a great addition to an
active dog loving family. Abby has been thoroughly vetted and is spayed and micro-chipped.
We are in search of a local foster or forever home for sweet Abby with a fenced secure yard and ideally someone who works from home or is retired. Contact Bonnie @ 626-483-6936 or email hopeforsweethomes@gmail.com for immediate consideration for this very special girl.

Go meet their pets
All dogs for adoption are in foster homes in So. CA where the meet and greets typically take place or at an arranged neutral territory when appropriate. All dogs and family members are required to come in person for the meet and greet if possible. Dog to dog assessments are usually done by my trainer. I do not participate in adoption events.

More about this rescue
I am a small independent rescuer in the San Gabriel Valley in So. CA. I was inspired to get into rescue when I lost my heart of heart dogs Ebony in 2011 and now have been rescuing and saving lives for 13 years. I pull unwanted dogs from high kill shelters, vet and provide training as needed, place in suitable foster homes, and finally good forever homes no matter how long it takes. All of this out of my own pocket most of the time. I pride myself on finding the most amazing adopters and my motto is always to set the dog up for success. I primarily rescue large mixed breed dogs a large percentage which are bully breeds.
