Velvet is a beautiful cat with enchanting amber eyes. She is full of sweetness and light. She wakes up with a song in her heart and is a happy, happy girl. She loves to play and she has an extremely loud purr motor. Her best friend is her sister Trixie and it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together.

The Eastern Madera County SPCA was incorporated in 1990. We are in an area with the highest euthanasia rates in the U.S. Our area is 45 minutes from the county shelter where thousands of animals die each year. Our goal is to promote adoption, offer spay/neuter assistance, and educate the public about proper animal care.
