Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alice's adopter recently passed away. Originally, Alice was rescued from a bad circumstance and will require a very patient, loving, trusting human to adopt her.
Alice is small -- maybe 20 pounds with typical tri-colored beagle markings. She is shy, timid, sensitive, and very sweet. Alice is 3-5 years old, spayed, up-to-date on shots.
She tends to avoid humans that she doesn’t know. But in the past two weeks since her adopter died, and she's made incredible progress – now she enjoys gentle pets from the folks in her foster home, and shows a longing to be social.
Alice thrives in a calm environment, and with a little patience, she'll blossom into the perfect companion. If you're ready to give this precious dog the love and time she deserves, Alice is patiently waiting to become a part of your heart!
As is common in beagles, she will chase other critters like squirrels and cats, so it's important that she have a securely fenced yard and a cat-free family. She lived with a small dog, and they got along well together.
