Sweet and shy girl that came to us from Puerto Rico

Her life was HARD before DRSF.
She lost an eye
The scar across her snout is where someone tied it shut and it cut into her.
Nuvia is a work in progress and we know we will need a special adopter for this little one.
She loves her people (as you can see by how comfortable she is being held like a baby) and she adapts to new situations, but needs some time
Her potty skills are a work in progress, but she is working with a trainer to keep improving those skills.
She’s a bit afraid of other dogs, would probably be ok with an older mellow dog, but a younger rambunctious dog or multiple dogs will not be good for her
A busy household will not be the best fit for her and small children wouldn’t work with her
We are hopeful that there is the perfect family out there for her!
