My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spink is a seven month old male. He has come a long way here at the shelter. Spink used to be feral but not any more! He has officially been tamed down! Now he likes attention and is a sweet little lover boy!! He can still be a little shy when he first gets to know you but not too shy. Spink would love to find his forever family. We hope you'll come meet him.

More about this shelter

SCAS was founded in 2001 and worked with the Town of Cedaredge to provide an adoption guaranteed animal shelter through 2010. In 2011 SCAS took over the operations of the shelter. Cedaredge has about 2000 residents. Volunteers walk the dogs daily and spend time cuddling the cats. We have a foster kitten program to keep kittens healthy and cuddly. Often we have barn cats available when free roaming cats can't be tamed to household living. Our dogs come to us as strays and through relinquishment. They are often lively guys in need of love and manners!! We have 8 dog runs.
