My name is Peavy!

This sweet boy is Peavy! Peavy is young at around 8 months old! He is timid and skittish, so you will have to earn his trust. While we don't require fences for every dog, it is a safety concern for Peavy to not have one, so it will be a requirement. He is coming around to the volunteers at the rescue, and he definitely enjoys the company of other dogs. He would thrive in a quiet home, without small children and with a confident dog or 2 that can help him gain his confidence. Training would be ideal for him as well as a confidence booster.

This month for dogs 6 months and older, we will reduce adoptions fees to $100. Our Senior sweethearts are $85.

The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. 

Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in.  Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
