My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walter is our very loyal and loving 4 year old bloodhound! He loves to snuggle and slobber all over his people. He's very obedient and has had extensive training. Although he sleeps in our daughter's bed, he's perfectly comfortable in his crate. He's very playful with our 8 year old lab and our 15 and 13 year old children. However, Walter does not do well with strangers (dogs or humans) in his home or yard, so a kid free family with a fenced in yard and without a lot of people traffic coming in and out of the house would be ideal for him. Like most bloodhounds, Walter is food aggressive towards other male dogs, so he eats alone. Walter is great in places where he is a guest including homes, groomers, trainers, boarding facilities, dog parks, and vet offices. The decision to find a new home for Walter has been a difficult one for our family. We love Walter beyond belief, and we are committed to finding our goofy boy a safe and loving home.
