My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kip and his siblings want to find their forever home today! Here's what his foster says..."It’s been fun showing him that he doesn’t need to be afraid of all the little things. Building trust if fun! He wants to be a good boy. He loves learning, and is very smart. He wants to please people. He is trying his best, and doing pretty good at it. He learned to sit within about 5 minutes of training. Potty training is going so well. He knows how to use a dog door and would be a great addition to any family!

Additional adoption info

We start with a phone interview to gather information to determine if initially it would be a good fit. We then have an application to be completed and in some circumstances a home visit.

Our pets are available to meet by appointment only by calling or texting our adoption coordinator Karyn at 435-640-4752, or via email at karyn@plfu.org.

More about this rescue

Paws for Life Utah is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs, cats and other "at risk" animals from municipal shelters find new, forever homes. We are a no-kill advocate, partnering with the Heber valley animal shelter, making them no-kill in 2013. Since then, we have expanded our reach throughout the state of Utah to rescue animals at risk. Our vision for the future is a "no kill" nation.
