My name is Maverick!

Hey guys, its me Maverick and I am looking for a new home preferably with another dog friend my size and people who can dedicate some time to training and socializing me. I do really well at doggie daycare and at the dog park - I love to run and play with other dogs. I am potty trained, sleep through the night in my bed, and know “sit, lay down, off, and go to bathroom”  and am working on “focus, wait, go to bed and place”. I enjoy going for walks but need some work on my leash manners (I really want to chase the bunnies and squirrels). I love to play with toys, especially enrichment ones (lick mats, snuffle mats, puzzle games), and of course bones and treats.   I enjoy watching all the people walking by my house.  I may have a little bit of separation anxiety when alone, so building a routine and having a doggie friend may help. I’m wary of some strangers and will need time to warm up. I know that with some people dedicated to my training that I can be the bestest boy - will you take a chance on me?

My adoption fee is $300 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  The rescue also provides free weekly training classes that I have been coming to and continue to come to for as long as needed!
