My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roman wants a family to call his own, he'll likely want to live in a detached house so he can run and bark at the squirrels, but if you live in a semi, a townhome or a condo, just make sure you will have a solid plan to keep him settled so his barking does not annoy your neighbours. If you were going to take some training with him, either group classes or one on one lessons, that would be great! We know Roman is going to love having an even stronger bond with you and nothing creates a strong bond like training together!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Each adoptive family will complete an application, come out to meet the available dog(s) and then email us after the meeting to let us know their intentions to pursue the adoption. We will do a home visit, check their references and then decide on the best home for each dog. Once a home is chosen, the family will sign our adoption contract and pay the $450 adoption fee prior to taking their new family member home with them!

More about this rescue

SPIN strives to educate and raise public awareness about how to be responsible for and share your life with a companion animal. We talk about the importance of spay/neuter programs, the deplorable conditions found in puppy mills and advocate for change. We are most proud, however, of our work in engaging like-minded people together by providing a forum to discuss how to care for and celebrate the poodle breed, but also to come together when necessary to help poodles in need.
