Buster is an 11 year old, 12 pound yorkiepoo who lost his favorite people who he lived with since a puppy. He is trying his best to adjust to life with new people and be a good boy away from everything he has ever known. Buster is quite a character, and has lots of spunk for walks and play. He is always willing to learn new things (for treats of course! ) Despite being a senior this guy is completely healthy, playful, and when the sun goes down he is all snuggles with his foster family. Buster is good with cats, and loves other small dogs! He is always up for adventures whether going for a car ride, walks around the town, or hiking trails as long as he is with his people, he is happy as can be! The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle!

A thorough application of questions is completed by all potential adopters.

Interview

We have a standard telephone interview that is conducted after an applicant passes our vet reference.

3.
Home Check

Homes are checked by an approved volunteer for safety, cleanliness, and ability to care for the new pet.

Additional adoption info

We do require all potential adopters to pass a vet reference. The applicant must have all current pets spayed or neutered, consistent vaccinations and yearly exams, as well as yearly heart worm prevention

Peace Love and Poms Rescue is not a shelter environment. All our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are treated like family until a forever home is found. This means all approved applicants will need to make an appointment with the foster pawrents to meet their potential new pet.
