My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Birdie, an endearing female medium mix breed with a distinctive charm-she sports a cute underbite and gracefully navigates the world on three legs. At just one year old, Birdie may be a bit shy initially, but a handful of treats and a few minutes of patient companionship reveal her friendly and affectionate nature. Birdie's journey has been marked by resilience, having lost a leg due to a gunshot wound and a recent diagnosis of heartworm. Despite her challenges, this sweet canine exudes a mischievous spirit that adds a delightful touch to her personality. Birdie thrives in the company of dogs, as long as there are clear boundaries in place. While she may not be suited for a home with younger children, older kids or adults who appreciate her unique spirit and can provide the understanding and support she deserves will find in Birdie a loyal and loving companion, ready to share a lifetime of joy and cuddles.
