Introducing Maya, the adorable pit bull mix with a heart of gold, who has been eagerly awaiting her forever home for 4 whole months already! With her endearing personality and charming demeanor, Maya is sure to win over anyone she meets.
Maya is house trained and well-behaved on the leash, and is a breeze to take on walks. She`s quick to respond to commands, making training a breeze. Maya is familiar with crates and is crate trained, although she much prefers lounging on the bed or snuggling up in your lap. She doesn`t know that she is not a small dog so she often tries to climb up, over, and on you to get closer as if she were a little dog someone might carry around in their bag.
A true sweetheart, Maya loves to give kisses and can`t help but wiggle her rear end with joy. While she may be a bit picky when it comes to food, she goes absolutely wild for mozzorella string cheese.
Maya prefers the company of puppies rather than adult dogs but can certainly enjoy a social walk with other adult dogs so if you`re looking for a momma dog to help with your newly adopted puppy Maya is your girl!
If she sounds like a girl you`d enjoy welcoming into your home please come by to meet her - we promise she won`t dissappoint! Maya is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.
For more information on Maya or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Also, be sure to check out our:
