My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiny is a big baby (even though he looks a little scary lol).
He was rescued from a home where he was starved and he had to survive on non-food essentials so he can be a bit of a chewing challenge.
He's been living indoors with a pack of dogs and a trainer who has done some work with him but he still can be a challenge although it's not his fault - Tiny is a very sweet and affectionate young dog!
He needs a large space to run and protect since his breed is very territorial and by nature protective
His new family must understand this and allow him to do his job.
He's definitely a family dog and once he bonds with you he will protect you from everyone and everything he may feel is a threat. Experience is required with proof of that experienced ownership
These dogs are big, strong and can play very rough with other dogs or his humans.
He is wonderful in a structured home once he learns the rules as he's learned where he's living now.

Tiny is kennel trained and crate trained but his crate inside the home must be no smaller than a 54 inch. Anything smaller than that is too small.
Tiny is neutered, great with females and most males. He is a dominant dog so his owner has to be an alpha handler in order to keep him out of trouble.
Tint is a chewer! He cannot be left alone where he's free to roam in or outside because he loves to chew things up. Solar lights are his thing right now but if he's watched as he should be he can be monitored. Tiny loves laying on the couch :) He loves being extra close to his humans so your lap is as good a place as any lol
He is really an affectionate dog and since he was rescued from starving to death he requires a bit more attention than a dog who wasn't. Someone who is home the majority of every day would be best -
Please do not apply for adoption if you work more than a couple hours a day.

Tiny has had some stomach issues since his rescue so regular veterinary visits are required for his health.
He is used to the quiet and peaceful country environment so any city homes must understand that it will take some months for him to get used to. He will be very sensitive to the sounds and chaos in the city.

Tiny is approximately 3-4 years old, utd on his required vax, and neutered.
He’s not good with cats and Livestock is unknown. He is a high energy dog that loves to play and will often growl at his handlers when he plays lol - Some dogs will play that way and it's fine. He needs a strong handler and nothing less. He is on the smaller size for his breed but is still big and very strong. He is located in Riverside County right now.

More about this rescue

My Best Friend Rescue was originally started in 2017 as an animal rescue sanctuary in honor of the Georgia 107 & Annabella.
Since that time, we have grown and developed in so many ways into who we are now.

We are a nonprofit in-house as well as foster based animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs on death row in high kill shelters.

We are dedicated to saving the ones who need us the most.
We provide them with the rehabilitation, love, patience, and guidance each of our dogs may need.
When they’re ready, we continue to work hard at finding them their perfect furever and a day home!
