Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I'm Boots! My friends call me Bootsie and I'm a tidy little black and white lady with sparkly peridot eyes and the cutest little white tail tip. I came to Happy Cats when I was rescued by some kind people after I was abandoned in their neighborhood.
Because of the trauma of being abandoned in the middle of winter, I may take a little time before I give my heart away. If you go gently with petting at first so I know I'm safe, I'm all about the cuddles and will be your best little Snuggle Bunny to keep you warm this winter! I love curling up on laps and also snuggling sidecar style right next to you.
If you're looking for a chatty friend to tell you all about their day but also listen to yours whenever you come home from being away, I'm your girl! I love to sing the song of my people, punctuated by purrs and chirps.
I'm only about 2 years old, but I must have missed out on some things as a kitten because I'm just now learning about toys. You can see I'm a quick study, though, and will probably love being shown about the wonderful world of kitty wands!
Because I tend to be shy at first, I'll probably do best in a home with older children and no dogs. I probably had bad experiences with other cats while trying to survive on the streets this winter, so will probably need to be the only kitty queen in your castle to blossom into my best self.
You can adopt me for $80 which includes my spay, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
