Hey people! I am Noah! And, like my namesake from the movie "The Notebook", I am swoon-worthy. I am an old-fashioned gentleman who likes to take a walk alongside my love interest.
I currently live with 5 dogs, and I get along great with all of them! I think it may be in part due to my charm. I am an unassuming chap who takes long, luxurious naps. My foster mom says I snore, but at least she knows where I am at all times!
I have a bum leg, so I don't run that much. I can go downstairs, but I struggle a bit coming back up, so a one-level place would be great for an older man like myself!
I do like to bark, so a home without shared walls would be best for me! I love to wag my tail and do a little happy dance whenever there is food involved. I do carry a little bit of extra weight, but don't worry, I'm working on it!
My foster mom thinks I am a great companion for anyone who is looking for a low-maintenance, sweet, cuddly guy!
One big thing you should know is that Noah is heartworm positive - but please don’t let that scare you away from adopting them! He has already finished his treatment and is currently just on activity restrictions. Heartworm is not a contagious disease. Click here to learn more about heartworm disease, which is transmitted by mosquitoes.
Noah Calhoun is from local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
