My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hi, I'm Edgar Frog and I'm the sweet shy guy just waiting to be your ride or die. That's right, once I know you're my person, there's nowhere I want to be more than by your side. Sure, I love rolling around with my pup pals, but nothing beats snuggling right up next to you for a nice little nap. Plus I'm totally ready to tune in for your next Teams meeting, right by your side! I'm all about the love - foster mom says I may be vertically challenged, but I've got a heart bigger than dogs 10x my size! Added bonus? I'm a perfect gentleman, so no crate needed! Think you could be my happily ever after?"

On top of all the medical care, and after care that is provided in your adoption donation all our dogs are housed in homes living with families learning basic manners, house training and crate training skills before you even adopt them. Some of the pups who have been here a bit longer even are on their way to earning their CGC Certification! (http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/) Or AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Certification! (http://www.akc.org/starpuppy/)

More about this rescue

Our mission is to foster, rehabilitate and re-home abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs (Most specifically the Pit Bull and Mastiff Type Dog) that are scheduled for euthanasia in Florida Animal Service Facilities due to medical space or time needs.

Additionally, we will make every feasible attempt to assist individuals who are possibly looking at the option of surrendering their dog due to emergencies, changes in family structure and financial instability. This is a our homeless no more plan!

Our Education programs will aid families with education who are currently handling unruly dogs and encourage a stronger bond, while in the hopes of keeping them together forever. We will always value the importance of community involvement by continually seeking ways to educate and promote responsible dog and Pit Bull Type Dog ownership to the public.

The welfare of our dogs will be placed above all else and we will strive to make their lives better by any means necessary. Before our fur kids leave us, they will be spayed/neutered, de-wormed, immunized, micro-chipped, socialized, temperament evaluated and treated for any necessary (Known) medical needs they may have. We pride ourselves on only placing ambassadors of the dog breed itself, no matter the breed.
