What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Cooper is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd. He is a loving dog and does well with people and children. Cooper is a cuddly, sweet boy who loves sitting on your lap and getting belly rubs. He is high energy and enjoys walks and swimming! Ideally, he would go to a family with property for him to run and/ or a home with a sturdy, tall fence. He is intelligent and knows all basic commands and tricks. He thrives on routine. Cooper is not a big fan of other animals and would do best in a home without other animals. There was another dog in the home that he got along with fine. However, he likes to be a protector so having another dog increased his anxiety level. Now that he is the only dog, he is much calmer and more playful again. He has been primarily an outside dog who sleeps in a crate inside. When he's been loose inside the house, he doesn't have accidents. He will come with a crate, platform bed, collar, leash, harness, brush, poop bags + holder, and dog water bottle.
