Meet Mindy, Your Perfect Companion! 🐾
Mindy, a vibrant, strong 2-year-old lab mix with a glossy black coat accented by charming white spots and one white paw, is eagerly seeking her forever family. She weights about 45 lbs and is currently being fostered in a home with two adult humans that previously had two Lucky Labs and multiple cats, with active kids. She came to the family a little shy and unsure but warmed up quickly. She’s still a little timid and occasionally a little skittish with loud noises or surprises, but she definitely likes to be near her people.
Mindy is a gentle and loving companion and loves to run zoomies in the fenced backyard. She walks pretty well on a leash and has completed as much as a 6 mile walk with no problems. She knows to heel but likes to explore. She’ll get better with more walks.
Mindy is comfortable being with extended family and friends at home and fellow furry friends she meets on walks. She enjoys car rides and looking out the window. Mindy is polite and eats her food from her bowl and is happy to earn a few doggie treats, too. She loves her dog bed, seeks her crate on her own, but would ultimately prefer to snuggle on the sofa after long walks and sleep in the bed with her humans at night. She likes a quiet neighborhood and back yard to explore.
Mindy's ideal home would be with adults or families with children over 5 where she can continue to thrive and grow. She would flourish with training as she’s an eager-to-please pup, and she's keen to learn and impress her humans. This sweet and loving girl dreams of finding her very own forever home where she can show her loyalty and shower her humans with kisses and curl up for a cozy nap. Mindy adores people and thrives on affection.
This delightful girl is already house-trained, spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and is on heartworm prevention.
