Nigel is the sweetest boy...
Nigel came from St Thomas on our transport February and went directly into a foster to adopt home. Unfortunately, Nigel us back with us because he has escaped a few times too many.
Nigel is a 3.5 year old terrier mix weighing about 25 pounds. (Birthdate 7/6/2020) He is very loving and gentle and enjoys playing with toys, laying in the sun, belly rubs and snuggling. Nigel is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Nigel has tested heartworm positive and has just completed his heartworm protocol treatment. He will be tested again in 6 months at Pet Search's expense.
Nigel is excellent with other dogs, but is cat reactive. We feel that he wound be a good companion for a family with children over the age of 5. He needs a secure fenced yard or daily walks on a leash as he likes to explore on his own terms.

Pet Search's philosophy is that all pets deserve a second chance for a hoe and love. Pet Search has chosen not to use a shelter-type environment with kennels and cages, but perfers to "home shelter" animals with volunteers in private homes. Pet Search is a privately funded organization, relying on the generousity of fellow animal lovers.
