Hello, potential forever friend! I'm Pinko, a 2-year-old male Jindo mix.
My journey hasn't been the smoothest, but thanks to some kind-hearted souls, I've found myself in the embrace of a temporary home, just in the nick of time before facing an uncertain fate. The road here has been winding, with various foster homes causing me stress and uncertainty. However, in my current foster home, I've found solace and stability, allowing my true gentle nature to shine through as I seek my forever family.
I'm quite the people lover, you see. I don't hesitate to greet strangers with a wagging tail and a desire for affection. I even enjoy sticking my head out of car windows, relishing the wind against my fur.
On walks, my curiosity often gets the better of me, leading me to chase after cats or birds. But with a firm hand on the leash, I'm quick to listen and follow. I do prefer outdoor potty breaks, so a consistent walking routine would suit me just fine. After a good walk, you'll find me happily lounging on the porch or curling up on the sofa, taking a well-deserved rest.
Although I may grumble a bit in the kennel at first, I settle down nicely once I'm accustomed to it. I get along well with other dogs, but I must admit, if provoked, I won't shy away from defending myself.
When it comes to food, I'm incredibly well-mannered. I don't guard my meals from humans or other dogs, and I'm even okay with gentle hands reaching into my bowl.

In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
