Meet Malik- A handsome young Russian Blue cat who needs a loving home. He was adopted as a tiny kitten but was retuned to our rescue recently. He is 3 years old.
PERSONALITY:
Very sweet cat and has a loud purr. Loves to be pet and will follow his people around the house. He can get over stimulated and will let you know in a gentle way. Great with kids but may not do well with tiny children. Doesn't like to be grabbed but can be held with ease. He doesn’t know me well as he just came back to our rescue and is extremely easy to hold him. He is use to a very active and noisy environment as he was in a home with 4 kids..
Bad habits- scratches furniture and carpets. With the right scratching posts and detergent assistant behavior (we can go over if you decide to adopt) he can learn to use his scratching posts and other items.
VETTING: He is neutered, vaccinated , microchipped and has revolution of for fleas and parasites.
****Malik comes with a scratching item too.

-If you want to adopt
: 1) please show up with cat carrier.
2) We give you copies of all forms.
3) we take photo of you and newly adopted pet.
4) we go over pet education packet as we do with anyone who adopts from us so you have a successful adoption.
5) adoption fee $50
6) We take any kitty back if it isn’t working out . But all kittens need time to adjust

(More on wet food) Pease remember; our cats have a low thirst drive and NEED the moisture in the wet food. Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box ovoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes..
****How much?**** At least one (3oz. can a day but 2 cans recommended) or 1/2 of a 5oz. Can of Friskies pate wet food a day (although one full can, half in morning and other half at night, is recommended ).
