My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet handsome Rex, so smart. He’s 1 year old, 60 lbs, loves everyone & very good with all dogs. Happy & playful.

Very gentle. Very sweet.
He wants to be a lap dog but also loves to run and play outside.

Rex is fostered in Chicago.

The first step if interested in meeting Rex would be to submit an adoption application.
You can find it on our website
merceranimalrescue.org

Rex is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, shots, fecals, wormings, vet wellness exams, microchippe.

Rex is heart worm negative, on heart worm prevention & flea/tick prevention.

This is a very nice dog.

Go meet their pets

All of our dogs were rescued from southern state - primarily Mississippi, Arkansas & Tennessee.
We get them out of the south into loving homes in the Midwest, Northeast & Southwest.

More about this rescue

Mercer Animal Rescue purpose is to rescue, socialize, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted dogs, cats and horses.
We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and the streets in the over-populated south. We transport them to the northeast states or the Chicago area where we hold adoption and fundraising events.
