Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Courtesy post, please get in touch with Sydnee Butcher at 304-704-6460 in West Virginia Finn is not with HCHS.
From Sydnee:
I am so so sad to be making this post. This dog has always been by my side, to snuggle me when I cried, to make me laugh at the end of all the worst days, and to make sure I never have to do anything alone. He truly makes the best companion under the right circumstances. Unfortunately, our circumstances are no longer fitting for my sweet boy, Finn. He is very firm on his boundaries, one of which is children. Lainey (daughter) loves this dog, and begs for his attention - but the feeling is not mutual. I desperately need to rehome him before she is mobile because I know things could turn bad for both of them in the blink of an eye.
I will be extremely picky about where he ends up. He is somewhat of a high-maintenance dog and will require someone with patience and understanding. He would be best as an only dog, though he does fine with my cats and my older dogs. No tolerance for puppies or children. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, on flea/tick prevention, last dewormed yesterday.
Please share so my boy can find the home that suits him best and can live the rest of his life as happy and healthy as possible.
