My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Triscuit, the lively 1-year-old male dog bursting with energy and love! 🐾 Triscuit is incredibly friendly and outgoing, ready to charm his way into your heart with his wagging tail and joyful demeanor. 🌟 With his zest for life, Triscuit would thrive in an active household that can keep up with his playful nature. While he's full of love, he could benefit from learning some manners to become the best companion possible. If you're ready to welcome this spirited pup into your home, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Let's give Triscuit the chance to become the well-behaved, beloved family member he's destined to be! 🏡❤️ Don't miss out on the opportunity to make Triscuit a part of your family.<p>
For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. More about this shelter

Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD) brings a little more love into the world by celebrating the special bond between an animal and their “person.” At FAMD, we don’t just rescue dogs and cats, we make life-changing connections with the people who adopt them.

We bring our passion and animals into the community with events that help bring together dogs and cats with loving people. And our outreach programs help promote education and animal welfare legislation locally, so that fewer animals have to spend another minute waiting for their forever home.

FAMD’s new state-of-the-art Animal Adoption and Education Center at 16121 Reckinger Road in Dearborn offers animals comfortable housing and medical support. It’s where our staff and volunteers work every day to make Metro Detroit a happier, more loving place for both two-legged and four-legged creatures alike.
