Poppy is approximately a 1 year old Tri-color Australian Shepherd. She is healthy and friendly and very active. She loves to play with other dogs but is still learning proper play behavior. She is learning quickly from our other dogs and should be fine in a home with other dogs. However she will need a lot of human supervision while she matures.
She is potty trained but still has some other house manners to learn. She will counter surf and chew on blankets if she is bored. She just needs time to learn what is appropriate. She is eager to please and very smart so it won’t take long to have her fully house trained.
Poppy can jump a four foot fence with ease. We will only be placing her in home with a securely fenced area for her to run and release some energy. She is an indoor dog and will need a person or family that is at home most of the time to supervise her. She will need to be crated in the house when no one is home. She cannot be left outside unattended.
Our preference is to find her a home with someone that is familiar with her breed and has the time and the environment to help her mature.
