My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little cutie is TITO, an extremely gentle and loving 10 pound, 7-8 month old mixed breed, possibly a Chihuahua/Poodle mix but he looks a bit like an Affenpinscher or Brussels Griffon mix. Tito was rescued along with three of his siblings where he was living on a back porch.  Tito has been living in foster care and has really blossomed. He is still timid at first but does warm-up within a short time to strangers. Tito absolutely loves other small dogs and REQUIRES  another dog in the home for guidance and company.

Tito’s working on his potty training and does well on a schedule and positive reinforcement. Tito is not used to being on the leash so a securely fenced in yard is a must for this guy. He's also not a fan of the crate, but he hasn't needed one because he sleeps through the night and roams freely in the house during the day with the other dogs; he has not been destructive. Tito in a wonderful, little dog who will make a great family dog for many households.

This puppy has been examined by licensed veterinarians, received age appropriate inoculations, been tested for intestinal parasites and diseases, been dewormed, neutered, and microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST from acaringplace@comcast.net  The online application is not working on our website.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
