My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rufus is a 1 year old, 22 lb mixed breed pup. He is so incredibly loving and sweet. He loves to give kisses and be loved on. His foster mom says he has the sweetest disposition, and he's the best foster she's had. He has been crate-trained and house-trained with her.

Rufus has been very quiet in general. He is motivated by love, not treats. He gets along well with other dogs, loves meeting new people, and is all around a wonderful dog.

He sleeps in a crate at night and whines for just a minute when you leave him. He does need work on leash training, but he is catching on. We absolutely love this little guy and feel he would make a great family dog.

His adoption fee is $350, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and heartworm testing. He is heartworm positive but is being treated with doxycycline and advantage multi under veterinary supervision - this will go with him to his forever home.
