Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oliver is a 2-year 4-month old Pug mix weighing 15 pounds. He came to the shelter as a stray so his history is unknown. Oliver is very affectionate and cuddly, a happy and energetic pup! Treat motivated, takes treats gently. Knows the command sit. Good on a leash, harness recommended to prevent trachea damage as he pulls. Oliver is a barker! He's on high alert and will let you know if someone is around. He loves to play tug and to burrow in his blankets. Mouthy when playing. Needs some work with housebreaking, routine will help. Fearful of cats but would probably chase them. Selective with other dogs but is respectful. Can be barrier reactive here at the shelter and wants to be left alone when eating (food aggression), which is why we don't recommend small children in the home.
His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $20.75.
Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
