My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rhodie - a chatty, playful guy ready to share affection with the perfect family!

This independent fella is perfectly content playing on his own, running around the house chasing invisible monsters, chasing laser pointers, and chewing on his favorite toys. However, he also loves hanging out with other kitty pals and demands the attention of his loyal human subjects! That’s right, he loves acting like King of the Castle. He comes running when he hears the word “kisses” and will let you know he desires them on his forehead by head bumping you until you give in to his wishes.

The perfect family would be a home without children and adults only, since he doesn’t particularly like being grabbed or picked up suddenly. His new family would also need to respect that he prefers petting on his own terms and will circle around your legs or climb up on you when he is ready for physical touch. Otherwise, he doesn’t mind loud music or sounds such as thunderstorms or fireworks, so could do well in a busier household as well. He would, however, prefer a family who could spend most of the day chit chatting with him and catering to all his needs.

Rhodie is a tender, loving soul that sees straight into your heart and will reward the lucky family ready to care for him with his loyalty and devotion. Apply online to adopt him today!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
