Those puppy-dog eyes will get ya every time! Give a warm welcome to Pesto, a sweet-as-can-be 8-year old, 15-pound Pug/Chihuahua mix who will steal your heart the moment you meet him.
Easy-going, quiet, low maintenance, cuddly, and cute, Pesto’s happy place is at home, hanging with his people. He loves being caressed, kissed, and pet, and will gladly sit on the couch with you whenever you feel like relaxing. At nighttime, he sleeps through the night in his crate, but if you invite him into your bed, he’d be thrilled to join you!
Pesto is housebroken and walks like a champ on a leash. He likes going for walks, providing it’s not totally pouring out! Hey, who can blame him?! Pesto travels calmly in a subway and is excited to tag along wherever you go…even to run mundane errands. He’s also light enough to hold whenever you need to pick up this handsome devil. Pesto has no issues being left home alone, but of course, he’s wayyyy happier to having a human somewhere nearby.
Friendly and non-confrontational, Pesto gets along well with everyone he meets. Old people, young people, kids, other dogs, he’s fine with ‘em all. He shares his toys, blankets, and bones with ease…even his toy boot that he treats like his little baby.
Pesto does not appear to have a big appetite and sometimes needs to be coerced to eat, but at least you’ll never have to worry about him stealing your chicken wings and French fries off the coffee table! He usually eats his treats whenever offered!
If you’re looking for a mature, super chill dude who is loving, adaptable, and adorable, Pesto should be calling your name!
