My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you would like to apply to take Sully home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you.
Sully (3 year old) is looking for his forever buddy, he is a cuddle bug and He can be goofy at times. He loves to run and play, when he plays with his toys he throws them up and shakes them, soft toys are his favourite . He will play ball by himself or with a buddy. He is good in the crate and is crate trained but he would prefer to be out with his people, sully hasn’t had the greatest start in life, he came from a hoarder situation and hasn’t been exposed to many people, we’ve had him around quite a few and it takes a few minutes for him to trust but once he does and your in his good books it’s plain sailing. Something like ‘Little man syndrome’ we often see in smaller dogs, I’m sure if you’ve had several smaller dogs you know exactly what we are talking about, so don’t let that put you off, he’s a great little guy. We would probably say no smaller children in the house, an older household that’s a bit more on the quiet side would be great for him, he doesn’t need much. Just a good solid friend. Sully has just completed heartworm treatment and will be ready for his forever home March 2nd!!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our Adoption Process:
Our process begins with an application that must be submitted as the first step. If an application appears to be a match for the particular dog or puppy, we arrange for a time to discuss it over the phone. Once the phone interview takes place and there continues to be a potential for being a good match, we arrange for a meet and greet IF the dog is fostered in Your area and then a possible home visit. After that, references are checked and you will be contacted via email or phone that you've been approved for adoption. At this time the adoption contract and the link to pay the adoption fee will be sent to you. Upon approval of application, a the fee is payable via paypal, Venmo, or debit/credit card via PayPal (no account needed) within 24 hours to 'hold' the dog you are adopting. The adoption fee is $474. The application review process can take up to a week but we try to get to you as soon as possible. An adoption contract will be signed prior to the dog going to its new home.
