Meet Ellabella, a beautiful one year old, 40ish lb German Shepherd mix. Shepherds are smart, sensitive, loyal dogs and do not fare well in a shelter environment. Ella was scheduled to be euthanized, so one of our awesome foster families took her home. Foster mom says Ellabella is a Doll Baby! She is a little shy at first, but once she knows she is safe and secure, she will be your most devoted friend. She loves her people and will gently lay her head on their lap, hoping for a little attention. Ellabella is still just a puppy, so she will need lots of playtime, exercise, and mental stimulation. She is so smart, she is sure to excel in most any type of training. She gets along fine with the other dogs in her foster home. She does very well with the older kids in her house. Ellabella needs a home where her new people will be patient with her while she settles in and transitions to her forever home. If you would like to meet Ellabella, please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
